Yes, we all have seen these rules in some programming books. But we all tend to forget about them.
Let me write it here so that I might remember them:
- The computer behaves the way you tell it so. If it doesn’t it’s still your fault.
- It is not guaranteed that you will develop a bug free system. Save yourself the embarrassment. Please get it tested.
- Always try to improve. Google for code you want. Find fault in that code and improve it. It will save you a lot of time.
- Add value to anything you do. The world doesn’t care if you try to build something like Facebook. It will only notice you if you have a unique idea like Facebook.
